Now that the KPOC project is moving full steam ahead into the implementation phase, I will be moving back to Canada sometime in June. You will see a huge platform being built 90 km off shore Sabah in a year or so. KPOC will be setting up an operations office in KK to handle this. The drilling will commence following that. The pipelines will be built to via Kimanis Bay and circumvent Brunei to bring the hydrocarbons to Bintulu for processing/marketing (mostly to Japan). Contrary to what you may have read in the papers lately, even though this is one the largest field discovered in Sabah waters in recent times, but certainly not huge in global terms.
